investment in hats

Next week i will have the stitches removed from where i'm healing from the biopsy on the back of my head. I'm not going to bother with the proposed treatments. It would seem more wise to eschew the injections and go with an investment in hats instead, if i actually were to give a shit about superficial appearance. But i don't. So the hats are just an idea at the moment, i already have a few pieces of headwear, maybe that's enough. And maybe i don't care what other people think of my appearance any longer.

I'm slightly disappointed that i'm no longer able to grow a mohawk. Oh well, haircuts are so yesterday. Try the sour grapes, they're delicious.

Now i get to look the part of the diseased faggot, after twenty-three years of hearing so many people tell me, "You look healthy!", occasionally making me wonder where there might be the implicit suggestion of "looking healthy for a faggot with AIDS". (Except, of course, for those awkward months now and then when i obviously visibly had pneumonia and other shit; but, yeah, people love to reinforce how happy they are to see that you don't look like a diseased faggot at all! And now they can't. Awkward!)

I'm on drug holiday until the end of April. I'm detoxifying from the cytidine-analogues (FTC and 3TC) and will have more blood tests around the beginning of May, then i intend to go onto my next "cocktail", consisting of tenofovir plus nevirapine plus raltegravir. But i hate Gilead, i hate HAART cocktails, and i'm alienated from the world at large, so i don't really give a shit any more whether the medications are "successful". It seems i've been so incredibly poisoned by "successful" medication schemes approved by the political and medical establishments, whereas i live in a fucked-up society which criminalizes non-toxic medications i should be able to grow for myself. I reject this kind of world, and i protest those of you who perpetuate it.

"First World" problems, eh? Most of the millions of people with AIDS would love to have the luxury of choosing among medications. Most would simply love to have their basic human rights and basic human needs assisted. So who am i to complain? Just another diseased faggot who disapproves of this banal Gangster Planet. Or is it "Prison Planet"? Or perhaps simply "stupid fucking poison-monkey Planet". Something like that, if it could be described in an adjective would be my name for this world.

On the bright side, i live with Tony, and we sit by our window viewing Bellingham Bay as eagles fly over the shore. Beautiful music from my friends is flowing from the insanely good stereo. Tony's working on his pizza dough right now, i just shredded cheese and sliced toppings, so we'll have quite a fĂȘte this evening, in our boring-old-men fashion. Cheech and Chong baking their pizza and brains, as the rains of the Salish Sea wash the windows... i imagine very few of the hundred billion monkeys who came before us were so fortunate to luxuriate in such peace, so i invent rationalizations for why i could be grateful, no matter how hard the world tries to alienate me. Some games are lifelong.

massive cover-up: Nuclear Nightmare Is Far From Over

Powerful plutocrats are currently conspiring to keep critical news and information away from the public. They are doing this in order to reap billions of dollars of profits. They are doing this despite the fact that millions of people will be dying as a result. They must be stopped. It is our duty as human beings to DESTROY the liars, to DEMOLISH their killer machinery, and to UTTERLY VANQUISH these evils once and for all. If you aren't destroying the Nuclear Industry, if you aren't working to destroy the Military Industrial Prison Banking Complex, then you are a collaborator with the Merchants Of Death. Shame on all of the co-conspirators. Shame on a public which allows this. Shame!
